Gentlemen, start your engines

Sigh, they just don't make cars like they used to.

A big thanks to A Time to Get for the photos above and for showing me some love.

Field trip to Zimman's

My dad and I recently took a trip to Zimman's in Lynn -- a family-run fabric warehouse that's been in business since 1909. I first heard about Zimman's from my friends Lauren and Nick over at Second Coat Design and was thrilled to finally check it out for myself.

I went there looking for something to use when we reupholster my couch, and though I didn't find what I was looking for, there were so many gorgeous fabrics.

{even their card is great!}

{do I spy marimekko?}

{two yards of this came home with me -- I think I'll make some accent pillows!}

Happy Birthday, Jim Henson

A man of style, substance, and imagination.  Forever missed, forever remembered.

Tommy Hilfiger fall ad campaign

Remember when I spotted my dream car -- a Jeep wagoneer? Looks like Tommy Hilfiger has a thing for wood-paneled cars, too. Loving this ad for the fall collection.

The whole campaign is just fantastic -- it reminds me of a Wes Anderson film:
