While watching "I.Q." over the weekend, starring the one and only Meg Ryan, I was just smitten with the movie's 1950s wardrobe -- especially the demure gloves worn by Ryan. (Can't tell by the below photo that the film is supposed to be set in the '50s? It's because of her hair. They clearly took some liberties with the decade -- don't even get me started on that one. Suffice it to say, her gloves are great.) Anyway, it got me to thinking: since hats are apparently "back," as they say, why couldn't we revive the mid-century fashion of wrist-length gloves?
