Cabin chic -- shabby rustic
Happy hump day everyone -- as the T driver says when rolling into JFK/UMass station, "Have a five star day and don't let anyone get you down."

Urban gardening: signs of growth
[since I took this photo, the lettuce growing on my back porch had doubled in size]
[let's go tomatoes, get with the program!]
[isn't that the cutest little strawberry you ever did see?]
[my highest yielding crop right now is romaine]

The table is set
[The striped "tablecloth" is a blanket from Land's End, the plates are vintage passed down from my grandmother, and the mismatched juice glasses have been collected over time at various flea markets and yard sales.]

Travel posters
Vibrant, stunning travel posters from Anderson Design Group. They come in both poster size and a smaller 11" by 14" version -- what a great way to catalog all your travels!

Nantucket red door
[Photo by Peter Murdock, via Coastal Living]
How great is this little scene -- such curb appeal! Love the hydrangeas and the surfboard leaning against the salted shingled house. Very Nantucket, very New England island life. Paint color for that door is Lobster Tail by Finnaren & Haley.
Never be afraid to paddle upstream
Never be afraid to paddle upstream -- it may take work, it may take a little longer, you'll have to fight the current the whole way, but you'll know you got yourself there without anything more than your own will and hard work.

All hail Matchbook Magazine
I am IN LOVE and ON BOARD with everything Matchbook Magazine is doing. Just look at these photos from their most recent issue. Can you say, "Swoon"?

Clam digging in San Fransisco
[How cute! -- via Atlantic-Pacific]
Counting down the days until my trip to San Francisco next month to see a good friend from college. Think I can force him to go clam digging if it means I get to dress the part like the lovely lady above?
Jumping photos
I'd like to blow these photos up really big and frame them for my walls -- they are so joyful and full of optimism, they'd be perfect for a bedroom. Anyone know where to get high res versions?
