Wish you were here: San Francisco
I'm off to San Francisco for an extended long weekend to visit some old friends. Cannot contain my excitement about all the incredible houses that are there -- will post photos when I return. In the meantime, try on a couple of these vintage (and vintage-looking) posters, prints, and postcards for size.

Love and adoration for Tina Fey
After years of watching her on "SNL" and "30 Rock" and buzzing through "Bossypants" this Spring in less than 24 hours, I am officially on the Tina Fey fan bandwagon and refuse to get off. Ever. Plus did you know she did the audiobook version for "Bossypants" too? Just bought it off iTunes -- I'll be listening to that on my way to San Francisco on Thursday!

Brimfield bound
Heading out to western Mass. for a couple days to do some antique hunting and vintage searching at Brimfield. Will report back when I return. For now, here are a couple shots from our trip in May, when it rained like crazy.

Oh hello sailor
Have recently realized that I kind of have a thing for mermaids. Case in point: look what recently arrived in the mail! Bought this on etsy from the fabulous quaillanepress. (They seriously rock.)
I need to get this (and about a hundred other things) framed so I can build a gallery wall in my bedroom.
