EmersonMade announces Fall line
It is no secret that I adore EmersonMade. My appreciation for these clothes and the gal behind them, Ms. Emerson Fry, have been documented here. And here. Oh yeah, and here.
Here are some of the pieces from the fall collection that I'm salivating over.

From The Desk Of: Upstatement
Introducing From the Desk Of, a new feature that explores stylish and inspiring work spaces and the people who occupy them.
The folks at Boston-based web design firm Upstatement, who have worked with places like the deCordova, Harvard University, the Boston Book Festival, and Boston.com, have set up shop in the Fort Point area in an old industrial building that once housed artist studios. The loft-like room, which has since been outfitted with a kitchen, has a sizable row of Western-facing windows and a pretty impressive wall papered with old concert posters, found art, and other stylish finds. To get to their floor, there's also a really neat -- and only slightly scary -- freight elevator.

Barn wedding
A little blurry, since I took it with my iPhone, but how gorgeous was the venue for the wedding I went to over the weekend? It was a glamorous, sea-inspired, white tablecloth take on a barn wedding.

By the sea in Plymouth
Spent a day in Manomet, a seaside village of Plymouth, this past weekend strolling the beach looking for rocks and seaglass and staring up at the houses on the cliffs. I decided to venture inland a bit to see what the houses looked like from the front.

Voluspa Candles
How gorgeous is the packaging on these limited edition Voluspa Candles? I wish the internet had smell-o-vision because the only thing better than gazing at the boxes is smelling the candles. Winesap Apple Spice has hints of sweet Macintosh apples, honey, and fresh cut wood while the Golden Cypress is all balsam fir and piney goodness.

On the bookshelf
It just so happens that the books I've been keeping by my bedside table lately are just as wonderful to look at as they have been to read!
