Hot weather hair: low braids

This hairstyle is super easy to do and works great on medium to long hair.  I started with my hair wet and did a braid going away from my face on either side, leaving my hair down in the back.  (On one of the sides I started it as a french braid just to keep my layers tucked.)  Then I did two braids on either side in the back.  Then I criss-crossed the back braids low and pinned them down, then worked the front braids back, tucking in the ends and pinning them under as well.  Took all of 15 minutes!

Sometimes you need a little push to stay on course.  With an end goal in sight, no amount of encouraging words or seemingly trite turns of inspirational phrase can be enough.  Take heart. Work hard.  Keep going.
